General Questions

Anjani Gram Tent City is located in Jhunsi, Prayagraj, near the heart of the Mahakumbh 2025 festivities. As the main Sangam area gets crowded during Mahakumbh, we are strategically positioned in Jhunsi, just 15 minutes (3.5 kms) away from the Sangam area, ensuring a peaceful stay while providing easy access to key ghats, temples, and attractions. Additionally, we are only 6 minutes (2.5 kms) away from Poore Surdas Ghat.

Check-in starts at 12:00 PM, and check-out is at 10:00 AM. Early check-ins and late checkouts are subject to availability

Yes, during Snan (holy bath) days, a minimum 3-night stay, that is one day prior to and one day after the snan day is mandatory due to traffic restrictions and high demand. 

All guests must present a government-issued photo ID (e.g., Aadhar Card, Passport, Driver’s License) at the time of check-in

We offer 2 tent categories to suit different budgets and preferences, including: 

– Deluxe Tents 

– Premium Tents 

Yes, our Deluxe and Premium tents are equipped with heaters to ensure comfort during your stay.

Absolutely! Our tents are fire-retardant and waterproof, and are designed with safety in mind, and the premises are secured 24/7 under CCTV surveillance and security personnel. Families with children will find the environment comfortable and family-friendly. 

Amenities include: 

– Comfortable bedding and furnishings 

– Attached bathrooms with running water 

– Toiletries and towels 

– Charging points for electronics 

Food and Dining

Guests can enjoy meals at: 

  1. Common Dining Hall: Buffet meals with a variety of vegetarian dishes.
  2. Food Court (Heritage Haat): Mini shops serving fast food and snacks from different cuisines.
  3. Kiosks: Located throughout the site for snacks, beverages, and dry food items like cookies, sandwiches, and cakes.

Room service is not available. However, you can order snacks and beverages at the food kiosks or visit the dining hall and food court for meals.

Yes, all food served is vegetarian, adhering to the spiritual nature of Mahakumbh.

Please inform us of any dietary preferences, restrictions or allergies during booking or at check-in, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. 

Transportation and Accessibility

Yes, shuttle services are available to key ghats and attractions. Shuttle timings and locations can be accessed via our WhatsApp updates. 

Yes, ample parking space is available for guests. Parking slots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. 

We provide pre-arranged pick-up and drop-off services for guests. Contact us in advance to arrange transportation

We provide Inter-city pre-booked pick-up and drop-off services for guests. Contact us in advance to arrange transportation

Safety and Security

Yes, the premises are monitored 24/7 by trained security personnel and CCTV cameras to ensure guest safety.

Medical assistance is available 24/7 on-site. Emergency contact numbers and QR codes for quick access are provided in every tent. 

Booking and Payments

You can book your stay through our website by contacting our reservation desk. 

We accept major credit/debit cards, UPI payments, and online bank transfers. Cash payments are accepted in the tent city for additional transactions for food, services, shop articles etc. 

Yes, cancellations made 7 days prior to the check-in date are eligible for a partial refund of 50%. Cancellations within 7 days of check-in are non-refundable. 

Technology and Digital Services

Free Wi-Fi is available across the site. QR codes in your tent provide login details for Wi-Fi access. 

The QR code will have links to our whatsapp broadcast channel which will allow you to: 

– View daily schedules and activities 

– Book yoga/meditation sessions 

– Access shuttle timings and updates 

Updates on menus, activities, and announcements will be shared via WhatsApp broadcast channels. 

Activities and Events

Yes, activities include:

– Cultural performances 

– Guided tours of Mahakumbh attractions

Yes, we have special activities and a kids area designed for children

Miscellaneous

Yes, pets are allowed in the tent city premises but should be monitored when outside of your tent and should not roam around freely without supervision

Smoking and alcohol consumption are prohibited within the premises.

Yes, QR codes are placed in tents, dining areas, and kiosks for collecting feedback. We value your input to enhance our services.
